APSU Men's Basketball - Austin Peay State UniversityMartin, TN – A raucous crowd and a late UT Martin run served to trip up Austin Peay State University men’s basketball in their penultimate road contest for the 2016-17 season, despite a 21-point effort from Josh Robinson.

The loss leaves Austin Peay unable to qualify for the 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with one regular season game remaining.

APSU Softball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – This weekend in Bowling Green, KY, Austin Peay State University’s softball team will return to action for the first time in 12 days as they participate in their second in-season tournament of the year at the WKU Hilltopper Spring Fling.

On Friday, the Govs will play two games at Buchanon Park – opening with a 1:30pm contest versus Illinois State (3-4), followed by a 4:00pm game against Wright State (2-3).

Lone Oak Baptist Church to hold Golf Scramble on April 22nd

 

Lone Oak Baptist ChurchCunningham TN – On Saturday, April 22nd, 2017, the Lone Oak Baptist Church will host a Golf Scramble at the Eastland Green Golf Course. Tee time is 1:00pm. The event is expected to last until 6:00pm.

The cost is $50.00 per person or $200.00 per team. There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place as well as closest to the pin and longest drive.

All proceeds from the Golf Scramble goes to support the Lone Oak Baptist Church Nicaragua Mission Team.
