APSU Women’s Golf’s Ashton Goodley leds Govs at Citrus Challenge

APSU Women's Golf - Austin Peay State UniversitySorrento, FL – Sophomore Ashton Goodley‘s final-round 74 led the way for Austin Peay State University women’s golf at the Citrus Challenge, hosted by Morehead State and RedTail Golf Club.

Putting was the missing ingredient for the Govs this week, as a number of misses conspired to keep Austin Peay outside the top-10.

Clarksville Police are searching for runaway juvenile Kaleen Michelle Delozier

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is looking for missing juvenile Kaleen Michelle Delozier.

Delozier, 17, was last seen on March 18th, 2017 leaving her workplace of McDonald’s on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a McDonald’s work shirt. She is described as a white female with red hair and green eyes.

APSU Men’s Golf finishes 3rd at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

APSU Men's Golf - Austin Peay State UniversitySevierville, TN – On Tuesday, March 21st, tremendous final rounds from Hunter Tidwell and Erik Hedberg gave Austin Peay State University men’s golf a top-three finish at the fifth annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, hosted by Tennessee Tech at Sevierville Golf Club.

The Govs matched their second-round 290 to pull even with Evansville and earn a share of third place with an 877 (297-290-290)—their lowest three-day total of the 2016-17 season.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Warrior Transition Battalion to host Change of Command Ceremony

 

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Lt. Col. Lyle (Chip) Finley, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Warrior Transition Battalion Commander, is slated to change command with Lt. Col. Shawn D. Butler at 2:00pm March 23rd at the installation’s Passenger Processing Center.

Finley took charge of the WTB at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, July 10th, 2015. Finley is deactivating from his active duty reserve status and returning back to his home in North Carolina.

APSU releases 2017 Football Schedule

APSU Football - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University Football head coach Will Healy announced the 11-game 2017 football schedule Monday evening, March 20th with five games slated to be played in Fortera Stadium.

The Governors will kickoff the 2017 campaign on Thursday, August 31st on the road at BCS and American Conference opponent Cincinnati in Nippert Stadium.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Madison Street Lane Closure for Continued Natural Gas Line Work

 

Tuesday, March 21st, 2017

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed approximately 600 feet of the outer eastbound lane of Madison Street near Hillcrest Circle for continued natural gas line maintenance work.

Madison Street will remain passable during the work; however traffic may become congested.

The work is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 4:00pm.

U.S. Air Force621st Contingency Response WingTrenton, NJ – As he grew frustrated that one of his team members was not following his orders, he yelled, “Don’t you know what the sign for stop is!? What is this, your first day in the Army!?”

The members of the 101st Airborne Division were working out their kinks as they were attempting to seize an airfield at Lakehurst Air Station here, during a mobility exercise called WAREX 78-17-01, March 13th-21st, 2017.

The exercise is conducted to identify and fix any issues the units may have before deploying in a real-world environment.
