The Arthur Schaupeter-designed course, measuring out at 7,221 yards (par-72), will be the Governors home for the next 54 holes against some of the Midwest’s best.

The host Tigers rank 30th in the most recent Golfstat.com rankings, while UALR (97th) also ranks in the top-100. Ohio Valley Conference foes Morehead State and SIU Edwardsville also are in the mix, with Central Arkansas, Creighton, Drake, Illinois State, IUPUI, Missouri State, Nicholls, Northern Illinois, South Dakota, South Dakota State, UMKC and Western Illinois rounding out the field.

The Govs will tee off at 8:00am (CT) in the first group alongside Missouri and South Dakota State.

After taking a big step forward last week in Spartanburg, South Carolina, freshman Alex Vegh will slot into the top spot this week. The Gahanna, Ohio native has shot par or better in three of his last five rounds to earn his ascension up the lineup.

Senior Erik Hedberg, in his final regular-season appearance as a Governor, slides in as the No. 2 this week after back-to-back top-30 showings, with sophomore Sean Butscher anchoring the middle of the lineup at No. 3—Butscher hopes to replicate, and add to, the team-high eight birdies he made last week.

Junior Hunter Tidwell‘s streak of top-20 finishes came to an end last; he hopes to start a new streak heading into next week’s OVC Championships, while freshman Austin Lancaster will round out the lineup after averaging 3.13/hole on par-3 attempts last week.

The two-day event is not expected to be affected by inclement weather. Live scoring will be provided by GolfStat.com and a complete recap will be available at LetsGoPeay.com at the conclusion of play each day.
