“This year, Homeschoolers’ Day is focused on forests,” says John Pollpeter, a Naturalist at Nature Station. “Homeschoolers will be able to get an up-close look at forest animals, investigate a forest ecosystem, complete educational crafts, work on a treetop scavenger hunt, and much more. Our ongoing programs and activities will incorporate concepts of science, English, and math into interactive lessons on the importance of forests. Your homeschooler will have a fun and exciting day learning about this precious resource.”

During Homeschoolers’ Month at Woodlands Nature Station, take advantage of unique learning opportunities, hands-on exploration activities, and take-home materials. Everyone is invited to participate. Pick up a “Nature Discovery Activity Book” at Nature Station and complete the fun exploration activities to earn a Nature Discovery patch and certificate.
