Using its claims data and state licensed driver counts from the Federal Highway Administration, State Farm, the nation’s leading auto insurer, estimates the state by state chances of any single American motorist striking a deer, elk or moose.

Tennessee took home its fourth consecutive Homecoming win as the Vols defeated Southern Miss, 24-10

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – With the defense forcing two third-quarter turnovers and the offense converting those opportunities into 14 points, Tennessee broke open a tight game and surged past Southern Miss, 24-10, Saturday night in the annual Homecoming game at Neyland Stadium.

With an announced crowd of 95,551 on hand, UT improved to 4-5 on the season, thanks to a pair of rushing touchdowns from junior tailback John Kelly and another from redshirt freshman quarterback Jarrett Guarantano. With their second-straight loss, the Golden Eagles fell to 5-4 this season.

APSU Men’s Basketball beats Sewanne 95-78 in exhibition game

APSU Men's BasketballClarksville, TN – Behind a standout first appearance in an Austin Peay uniform from freshman Terry Taylor, Austin Peay State University men’s basketball delivered a solid 95-78 win against Sewanee in exhibition action, Saturday night, in the Dunn Center.

Taylor was electric in his first contest as a Gov, hitting all nine shot attempts from the floor. The wing from Bowling Green scored 24 points and snatched 12 rebounds, pacing an aggressive Austin Peay offensive attack.
