Blanchfield Army Community Hospital releases Holiday Schedule

Fort Campbell, KY – In observance of the federal holiday for Christmas and New Year’s, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital will only offer emergency care and inpatient services December 25th and January 1st.

The Warrior Care Clinic and all Soldier and Patient-Centered Medical Homes, including Air Assault, Byrd, Campbell Army Airfield, Gold, LaPointe, Screaming Eagle, and Young Eagle, and all pharmacies are closed on the federal holidays.

The hospital remains open 24/7 for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.

Specialty and surgical services will be closed for a Day of No Scheduled Activities (DONSA) December 26th and December 29th.

On December 26th, all Soldier and Patient Medical Homes will consolidate services; therefore, patients with acute medical needs will be seen in the Air Assault Family Medical Home within the main hospital.

On December 29th, all Soldier and Patient Centered Medical Homes will consolidate services and patients with acute medical needs will either be seen at the Air Assault Family Medical Home within the main hospital or in the Screaming Eagle Medical Home, next to Tennova Healthcare in Office Building One. Pharmacy Services on Fort Campbell will consolidate to the Town Center Pharmacy on December 26th and December 29th. Town Center DONSA hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00pm.

In addition, Byrd, Campbell Army Airfield, LaPointe, Gold, and Young Eagle Medical Homes and specialty and surgical services will be open until 1:00pm December 15th. All TRICARE Prime BACH enrolled patients will be seen in the Air Assault Family or Screaming Eagle Medical Homes after 1:00pm December 15th.

Air Assault Medical Home patients, who need medical attention the afternoon of December 14th will be seen in another BACH medical home. Appointment personnel will assist Air Assault Medical Home patients in determining where they will be seen the afternoon of December 14th. Screaming Eagle Medical Home will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm December 18th.

LaPointe, Byrd, and the Town Center Pharmacies will close at 1:00pm December 15th. The hospital’s Main Pharmacy will remain open until 4:00pm, with limited staffing to handle acute medication needs and the Screaming Eagle Medical Pharmacy will remain open until 4:45pm December 15th. The Screaming Eagle Medical Home Pharmacy will close at 1:00pm December 18th.
