Clarksville Transit System to provide special Holiday Services

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Clarksville Transit System is offering several free services to help residents cope with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

On Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 CTS will offer free rides to all passengers to help with last-minute holiday shopping trips. So make your list, check it twice and then sit back and let CTS do the driving.

CTS also will offer free transportation on December 23rd from the Downtown Transit Center to the 10th Annual Warm Souls Christmas Celebration at the APSU Morgan University Center. Warm Souls will be from 10:00am to 2:00pm. CTS trips to Warm Souls will be from 9:30am-11:30am, and return trips will begin at 12:20pm.

Hilldale Baptist Church partners with First Church of the Nazarene Radical Mission for Warm Souls, which reaches out to the community with a hot homemade meal, gently used clothing and toys, haircuts, portraits, vision screening, prayer and a friendly hand extended.

On New Year’s Eve, CTS will conduct Operation Safe Ride to help make sure New Year’s Eve revelers enjoy start the New Year safely.

To fight impaired driving, CTS buses will provide free safe rides home for anyone who may have celebrated too much. Operation Safe Ride will be offered from 11:00pm to 3:00am New Year’s Eve Sunday, December 31st.

Make arrangements for transportation from public or private locations within the City Limits by calling 931.553.2429. Passengers needing service to Fort Campbell will be dropped off at Gate 4 and transported on post by installation officials.
