Montgomery County seeks Nominations for Governor’s Volunteer Stars Program

Governor’s Volunteer Stars Program Honors Volunteers

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – If you know of an adult or youth who should be acknowledged for their volunteer service, they could be honored statewide through the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards (GSVA). The nominations are due by January 10th, 2018.

The GSVA promotes the importance of volunteering by recognizing those who are committed to local community service.

Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards

Montgomery County is looking for a youth and an adult candidate to represent the community.

The nominations will be judged by a local committee and sent to the volunteer Tennessee staff in Nashville.

A recognition banquet will be held March 18th, 2018 when the recipients from participating counties will be honored by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam.
