Clarksville, TN – When I launched this blog, I did it as a journal. It was therapy for me. I had just discovered what motorcycles were all about. I was caught up in this culture and what makes it special. It pulled me out of depression.
Along the way, I’ve shared my journey and you have responded. I’ve met so many incredible people and been to so many places that I would have never seen had it not been for my Harley.
So, I thought it would be cool if I asked YOU to share your journey with me and let me publish it here on Dodging the Roadkill. You don’t have to be a writer, or have any writing experience. Just tell it like it is and put it in an email and send it to me.
When did you first start riding? Who introduced you to motorcycles? What do you love most about it? Have you ever been in a crash? What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken? Anything you would like to share about YOUR journey. Everybody’s experience is different. I’ll pick at least ONE of you each week to publish.
I’ll post those stories on the website and share them on social media so that we can all enjoy this passion, from your perspective, not just mine.
I found this passion at the ripe old age of 63 and as you can tell, I’m FULL ON involved in it. I want to soak up everything I can about you, your bike, your life as a biker and everything that comes with it. You guys have taught me a LOT through this blog and I want more.
You won’t be judged on your writing skills. You won’t be judged on your story. Just tell the truth. What makes your journey so great? So invigorating? So passionate?
