Campbell Crossing receives 2017 National Night Out award

Campbell CrossingFort Campbell, KY – Campbell Crossing, Lendlease’s privatized housing community located on Fort Campbell, is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a 2017 National Night Out (NNO) award winner in the Military category.

Received in partnership with Fort Campbell, Campbell Crossing is one of four Lendlease housing communities to have received a NNO award.

Others include Island Palm Communities on Schofield Barracks, Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes on Fort Drum, as well as Fort Hood Family Housing on Fort Hood.

“Campbell Crossing has great partnerships with Fort Campbell and local community law-enforcement, and we all have one common goal, to ensure our neighborhoods and local communities are safe,” said John Bredehoeft, project director for Campbell Crossing. “This event really brings that goal full circle in a fun and educational way.”

Local Fort Campbell law enforcement, soldiers and families came out to take a stand against crime at NNO 2017National Night Out is a nationwide celebration geared toward heightening crime prevention awareness and strengthening the neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

This year’s event included games, trunk-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, local law enforcement demonstrations, bounce houses and more!

Bredehoeft added, “I am very proud of our team, as this makes six years in a row we have won a National Night Out award. This is a great recognition, and one we want to share with the entire Fort Campbell community who made the event a great success.”

Campbell Crossing LLC, the partnership between developer Lendlease and the Department of the Army, is a housing community for soldiers and families of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, and home to the first zero-energy homes project constructed on a military installation.
