Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Academy Choir sang Christmas songs at the Downtown Commons to celebrate the Christmas Season on December 2nd, 2017. The event was part of the 3rd Annual SpiritFest, a holiday event, that took place in Downtown Clarksville before the 58th Annual Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade.
The Christmas celebration at the Downtown Commons featured live music on the new stage, art & gift markets, and ice skating.
There was free hot chocolate and cookies available. Century 21 Platinum Properties provided popcorn.
The musical lineup featured the with Northeast High School Show Choir, Starlight Grande performance, Infinity Dance Fitness Academy, Clarksville Academy, Montgomery Central Elementary School Choir, Rossview Signing Hawks and the 101st Airborne Band.
After the parade, Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett held the lighting of the tree ceremony. Then Santa Claus made an appearance to hear requests from children and adults alike.
