CMCSS will start Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 with a Two Hour Delay

Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS)Montgomery County, TN – Because of the frigid temperatures, Clarksville-Montgomery County School Systems has announced that they will delay the start of school two hours Wednesday morning, January 3rd, 2018.

Regular and Special Ed Pre-K will not report at all. School breakfast and lunch will be served. Staff reports on time.

School Delay

Secondly, every morning this week, buses will be running inclement weather routes.

This means that students should remain in the protection of their home, standing in the doorway or by a window where they can best see their bus approaching.

As soon as they see the bus, they must immediately leave their home and walk quickly to their inclement weather stop. If the bus driver does not see the student, the bus will not stop.

Please see more details about this at www.cmcss.net under weather information.

And thirdly, students should dress appropriately for the weather, both outside and inside the school building. Even with all systems working properly, the buildings may struggle to keep the inside air at 70 degrees when it is in the single digits outside.

Welcome to 2018!
