2017 Wildlife Awards go to Dan Gibbs, Joshua Roberson

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – Dan Gibbs and Joshua Roberson have been honored by being named the 2017 TWRA Wildlife Biologist of the Year and Wildlife Technician of the Year, respectively.

The annual awards are presented by the TWRA Wildlife and Forestry Division. Division Chief Mark Gudlin announced the winners at the January meeting of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission.

Instant Peay Play: APSU Basketball must earn road wins for quality seed in OVC Tournament

 

Instant Peay Play - APSU SportsClarksville, TN – With Austin Peay State University’s men’s basketball team entering the home stretch of its Ohio Valley Conference basketball season it is imperative they find a way to overcome a season-long difficulty of coming away with wins on the road if they are to get a favorable seed in the upcoming Ohio Valley Conference Championship Tournament.

Currently the Govs, 12-10 overall, are tied for third place in the OVC standings with a win-loss mark of 7-3 – tied with Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech – with eight games left in the regular season schedule.

American Heart Association says Many Stroke Survivors don’t receive timely rehab
