Opponent Spotlight
Lipscomb (1-1) has had mixed results to start their season. They dropped a 6-1 decision at Southeastern Conference-member Vanderbilt, but rebounded to defeat Gardner-Webb in their home opener by a tight 4-3 scoreline. Lipscomb is 5-1 in their six doubles matches to start the year, so a fast start is critical for the Govs.
Louisville (3-2) started off hot, winning their first three matches, but then fell to nationally- ranked Texas Christian and Duke. Louisville has two players ranked in the ITA’s Top 125, and also boasts the sixth-ranked doubles pair in Division I.
