Georgetown won the event with a 916, 27 shots ahead of runner-up Morehead State.

Three shots were all that separated Austin Peay’s top three finishers. She was one shot ahead of sophomore Meghann Stamps (81-79-82—242) and two shots clear of her sister Ashton Goodley (82-82-79—243); they finished tied for 23rd and 28th, respectively.

Rounding out the day for the Govs were senior AnnaMichelle Moore, whose final-round 80 was third for the Govs, and junior Reagan Greene; Moore shot a 246 (87-79-80) while Greene chipped in a 250 (90-78-82).

“This week was a learning experience for us,” said interim head coach Amy McCollum. “They battled through the windy conditions all week and kept fighting. We’re ready to work the rest of the week in preparation for Florida.”

The Govs will spend the rest of the week out west before returning home to prepare for the MSU Citrus Classic, March 18th-19th. The Morehead State-hosted event takes place at Red Tail Golf Course in Sorrento, Florida.
