APSU Women's GolfSorrento, FL – A trio of weather delays conspired to keep Austin Peay State University women’s golf from entirely completing its second round at the Citrus Challenge, hosted by Morehead State at Red Tails Golf Club, but final-round action should not be too affected by the modified starts scheduled for Tuesday.

Three Governors did manage to finish their rounds, which should prove advantageous for Austin Peay, as some competitors could have to play up to 27 holes to finish up on Tuesday.

For the Govs, Ashton Goodley and Reagan Greene will have one more hole to finish their second rounds before embarking on final-round play, while senior Anna Michelle Moore, junior Taylor Goodley and sophomore Meghann Stamps officially wrapped their rounds despite the conditions Monday afternoon.

Moore was the big mover on the day, firing a one-under 71 which included a trio of clutch birdies. Stamps’ 77 saw her post a three-shot improvement from round one, while Taylor Goodley dropped seven shots off her round one score, posting a 76.

Action resumes 7:15am(CT), Tuesday, as teams look to complete round two before concluding the tournament.
