APSU Men's TennisClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team looks to jump start its season by returning home to welcome Saint Louis, 3:00pm, Tuesday.

The Govs (1-15, 0-4 OVC) could gain a lot of confidence heading into the latter end of Ohio Valley Conference play with a win against the Billikens (7-7).

The Govs dropped two OVC matches this past weekend against Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State, both of whom are near the top of the conference.

Almantas Ozelis has been the standout player for the Govs as he enters the match on win streaks in both doubles and singles. With partner Aleh Drobysh, the team has won its past three matches that have finished and Ozelis also won his last singles match against Jacksonville State.

Saint Louis is only 2-6 on the road and has lost four of their last five matches. The Govs could reap the benefit of a quality win due to the road woes of the Billikens. This is the first meeting ever between the two schools in a dual match and none of the players on the current roster have met a Billiken opponent in any previous competition.
