Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team returns home for a non-conference outing against Saint Louis, 3:00pm., Tuesday.
The Govs (5-6, 2-1 OVC) are taking a break from Ohio Valley Conference action to welcome the Billikens (6-8). The match was originally scheduled for early March, but was moved due to weather.
Austin Peay opened the OVC slate with a perfect 2-0 start, but narrowly fell in its last outing to Jacksonville State in a hotly-contested OVC match.
The Govs still remain in good shape, as the 2-1 mark places them in third in the OVC standings.
The Billikens have played their past four matches on the road, compiling a 2-2 record in those matches. Overall, Saint Louis is a meager 2-6 in matches on the road, while Austin Peay loves its home court, earning a 3-1 record so far this year. The two schools have never met in tournament or dual play in the Ross Brown era.
