Clarksville Police report Motorcycle Fatality Crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a motorcycle versus SUV fatality crash Tuesday, May 8th around 9:00pm at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge.

A 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by a 25 year old man was traveling west on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway when a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 36 year old man was traveling east on the 101st Airborne Parkway and made a left turn toward Pea Ridge Road.

Clarksville were dispatched to a motorcycle crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway where a Nissan Pathfinder turned in front of a Harly Davidson motorcycle.  The motorcycle crashed into the side of the Pathfinder and caught on fire. The motorcycle rider died at the scene.

He crossed into the path of the oncoming motorcycle and the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Nissan and caught on fire.

The 25 year old motorcycle rider died at the scene.

Officer Bill Van Beber III is the lead investigator and charges are pending.

Names will be released after appropriate notifications are made.
