Nashville Sounds rock Tacoma Rainiers, 11-3

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – Anthony Garcia drilled a grand slam and the Nashville Sounds routed the Tacoma Rainiers, 11-3, in front of a sellout crowd of 10,022 fans at First Tennessee Park Friday night.

Garcia’s blast came as part of a six-run second inning for the Sounds. Entering the bottom of the inning, the Sounds trailed 1-0 but quickly turned it around. With one out, Sheldon Neuse singled and BJ Boyd doubled to even the game at 1-1.

Tacoma starter Ross Detwiler issued three consecutive walks to force in another run to give Nashville a 2-1 lead.

Clarksville Police reports Darius Moore Pleads Guilty and Will Serve 30 days

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police reports Darius Lavonte Moore, age 27, plead guilty in court today and will serve 30 days.

Moore was wanted for indecent exposure. On June 3rd, 2018 he was charged and booked into the Montgomery County Jail for Two Counts of Indecent Exposure. His bond was set at $10,000.

Clarksville Police were trying to locate a McGuire who had been gone from her residence since May 31st, 2018.

AAA reports National Gas Price Average Falls For First Time in Three Months

AAATampa, FL – Dropping by two-cents on the week, the national gas price average is $2.95 reports AAA. This is the first time there has been a decrease in the national average since mid-March.

The drop, albeit it small, follows the latest Energy Information Administration (EIA) report showing consistently strong demand although it is running slightly below (100,000 b/d less) the same week last year.

Clarksville Police are looking for Dontavius Hawkins with Aggravated Assault and Vehicle Burglary Warrants

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report a 15 year old was robbed after making arrangements through the Letgo app to meet and sell a pair of “Jordan” shoes to a man in front of a business in the 500 block of Providence Boulevard.

The 15 year old and another family member met with the potential buyer, later identified as Dontavius Hawkins, around 5:00pm on June, 1st. After a brief discussion about the shoes, Hawkins snatched the shoes from the juvenile who was inside of a car, and took off running around a building.

Dontavius Hawkins is wanted by Clarksville Police for Aggravated Assault and Vehicle Burglary.

The family has not heard from the juvenile since she left.
