Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Annual Dinner & Gala awards.

Held on June 12th, 2018 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, the Annual Dinner & Gala serves as an opportunity to celebrate the past year’s achievements and welcome in the new Board leadership. This year, Chamber Chairman Charlie Koon took a moment to recognize individual members who have gone above and beyond both in the community and in business.

The winners of the 2018 Chamber Annual Dinner & Gala awards are:

Lee Erwin, Ted A Crozier, Sr. Community Commitment Award.
The Community Commitment Award honors a Chamber member that showcases the spirit of our community and embodies the Chamber’s mission to improve the welfare of the community by enhancing the quality of life in the region. Erwin, who is best known for his decades long role in local media, has been a champion for the success of our community and is an ever present volunteer in many philanthropic and professional organizations.

Sammy Stuard, Lifetime Achievement Award, F&M Bank.
The Lifetime Achievement Award, now in its 7th year, honors and recognizes a member that has shown a long-term dedication to the community and this organization. Stuard has served on numerous Boards and leadership positions and has previously been a Chairman of both the Chamber and the Aspire Clarksville Foundation.

Amber Anderson, Ambassador of the Year.
The Clarksville Ambassadors play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the Chamber as goodwill representatives of the organization. Their commitment and participation in Chamber activities is vital. Anderson has been an integral member of the Ambassadors group for many years and is a vocal spokesperson for the importance of the Chamber in the business community.

Dee Colburn, Clarksville Young Professional of the Year, Legends Bank.
The CYP winner is continually focused on professional development and shows care about our future of our community. Colburn is both an active member of CYP and the Ambassadors. She has volunteered countless hours to the betterment of our community through both Chamber organizations as well as through the bank.

Richard Eskildson, The Boots to Suits Award, Commercial Installation, LLC.
The Veterans Award recognizes a Clarksville military veteran who, through professional and personal efforts, is making a positive impact throughout the business community. Ekildson has a strong record of outstanding performance through his entrepreneurship endeavors and through his service to our country.

Announced at the Annual Dinner & Gala is the appointment of Jay Albertia, President and CEO of Progressive Directions Inc., to the position of Board Chairman beginning July 1st, 2018.
