Clarksville Parks and Recreation seeks entries for Riverfest Juried Art Show

Clarksville Riverfest Juried Art Show Deadline for artists to register is August 22nd

Clarksville RiverFestClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts & Heritage Development Council have partnered to host this year’s Clarksville Riverfest Juried Art Show.

The Riverfest Juried Art Show showcases the work of local artists in four divisions: professional, amateur, senior, and youth.

The following categories are open to all divisions:

  • Photography and Digital Media.
  • Painting (includes acrylic, oil, and watercolor).
  • Drawing.
  • 2D Mixed Media.
  • 3D Sculpture and Fiber Arts.

Submitted artwork will be juried and artwork will be selected for inclusion in the public display on Thursday, September 6th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center as part of Clarksville’s Riverfest.

First, second, and third place will be awarded in each of the five categories for each division. Monetary awards will be given for division overalls, first place, second place, and third place in the professional, amateur, and youth divisions. Monetary awards will also be given to one Best in Show winner from the professional or amateur division and one from the senior division. Recognition will be given for first place, second place, and third place in the senior division.

Pre-registration is required to enter artwork into the Clarksville Riverfest Juried Art Show. Registration closes on Wednesday, August 22nd. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline.
