Hello Lifeliner family and friends, my name is Colonel Stan Sliwinski, commander of the 101st Airborne Division Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade in Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. And I’m Command Sergeant Major Anthony McAdoo.

We would like to wish all of our family and friends a happy Fourth of July. Today we commemorate the independence of our nation that our Soldiers fight tirelessly to defend. Our Soldiers are providing world-class sustainment support to all US and coalition forces operating in and around Afghanistan.

We come to you from the mountains of Afghanistan to you, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Your family members, our Lifeliner Soldiers, are proudly deployed abroad to enable the continued celebration of our nation’s independence that began 242 years ago. What a great day it is to be an American Soldier.

Happy Fourth of July! Screaming Eagles!
