Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Work starting July 20th, 2018

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County there will be on-call sign repair and replacement on I-24 on Friday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 25th from 8:00pm until 5:00am.

There will be a temporary lane closure on I-24 in both directions, between mile markers 2 and 7, and ramp traffic will be shifted at Exit 4 in order to install signs.

Road Closure

Montgomery County

SR 149 and SR 13 Grading, Drainage, and Construction of Bridge, Retaining Wall and Paving from River Road to Zinc Plant Road
On Friday, July 20th through Tuesday, July 24th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be periodic flagging operations along SR 13 and SR 149 for clearing and grade work operations.

SR 374 (Warfield Boulevard) Widening from South of Dunbar Cave Road to West of Stokes Road
On Friday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 25th, from 9:00am-3:30pm, there will be intermittent road closures on Warfield Boulevard, between Dunbar Cave Road and Stokes Road, for pre-split blasting. All traffic will be halted during the blasting process until all debris is removed from roadway.

On Friday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 25th, from 9:00am-3:30pm, there will be a lane closure just south of Bellamy Lane for installation of a cross drain.

Davidson County

Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47 – 48)
On Monday, July 23rd, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be lane closures on I-24 West at the Woodland Street Bridge, between mile markers 47 and 48, for expansion joint repairs. Two lanes will remain open.

Dickson County-Williamson County

I-40 East Construction of Truck Climbing Lane near Mile Marker 180
On Friday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 25th (continuous), there will be a temporary shoulder closure on I-40 East, between mile markers 180 and 183, in order to construct a new truck climbing lane.

Hickman County

I-40 Bridge Repair over State Route 230
Now though August 2018, There will be a temporary shoulder closure on I-40 in both directions, between mile markers 151 and 153, in order to widen the bridges over SR 230.

On Friday, July 20th, from 10:00am-11:00am, there will be a rolling road block on I-40 in both directions, between mile markers 151 and 153, in order to remove a utility Line.

Robertson County

On-Call Pavement Markings on Various Interstates and State Routes
On Friday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 25th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be temporary lane closures with a moving operation on I-65, between mile markers 110 and 120, in order to restripe the mainline.

New Interchange Construction on I-65 at SR 109
Now through July 2018 (continuous), the inside lane of I-65 North will be closed, between mile markers 118 and 121, for removal of existing median wall and construction of new overhead signs. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
