Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, August 6th,2018, around 4:00am, Gavin Ray Oliver, 24 who has a lengthy criminal history involving theft has been caught again.
He was caught after entering an unlocked black Cadillac in the parking lot of Walmart, 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
Little did he realize, there were several witnesses watching him as he entered the vehicle in the parking lot and that police were called.
When officers spoke to Oliver, he told them that the vehicle was his, gave them a false name, and was found in possession of a driver license which did not belong to him.
Additionally, he had a warrant of file for Violation of Probation. Oliver was found to be in the company of Jacob Scott Knight, 27, who also has a lengthy criminal history involving theft and drugs. Knight had a stolen credit card, marijuana, drug paraphernalia in his possession, and warrants on file. Both were taken in custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail,
Gavin Ray Oliver, 24 was charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, Criminal Impersonation, Theft of Property, and Violation of Probation. Oliver’s bond is set at $45,000.
Jacob Scott Knight, 27, was charged with Theft of Property, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Possession X 3, and Drug Methamphetamine. Knight’s bond is $24,500.
