Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Association of Realtors® (CAR) sponsored a day-long certification class where 60 Clarksville Realtors® earned their Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation on August 1st.
The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members and better serve their unique needs.
The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members, their families, and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and help to take full advantage of available benefits and support.
By earning their MRP, these REALTORS® gain an understanding of the processes and procedures involved in a military relocation and how these impact service members’ relocation and housing choices. MRP designees are able to identify and provide services that help service members sell or find and purchase suitable homes, and are knowledgeable of the military relocation process, and can explain the basics of VA financing.
“A MRP is the mark of a true real estate professional,” said Charles Pecka, 2018 CAR President. “It’s one of the many ways Clarksville REALTORS® are prepared to handle the special needs of active duty and retired Veterans,” said Pecka.
