The suspects also burglarized four vehicles on Boulder Court, Westchester Place, and Austin Brian Court.

In addition to the stolen vehicles, the suspects stole two firearms, credit and debit cards, electronic equipment, sporting equipment, and personal identification.

On August 7th, 2018 at approximately 4:00am they stopped at Sango Market to purchase gas for a stolen vehicle with a stolen credit card.

Based on evidence, it appears these criminals are carpooling from Nashville in a stolen vehicle. They canvass neighborhoods for unlocked vehicles, homes, and open garage doors.

In each of the above incidents there were no signs of forced entry and the keys to the stolen vehicles were left in or near the vehicle.

“We can’t emphasis enough the need to remove all personal belongings from your vehicle and lock all your doors,” said Sandra Brandon, Public Information Officer for the MCSO. “If you notice a suspicious, fully occupied vehicle, with out-of-county tags, please notify law enforcement.”

Year to date, between the city and county, there were 1064 reported cases of stolen vehicles and vehicle burglaries. This does not include the hundreds of reports where a vehicle was rummaged through but nothing was stolen.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call 911 or Investigator Ryan Ayrest at 931.648.0611 ext. 13404.
