This year’s Handbags For Hope, which was was open to the public, sold 400 tickets and featured almost 300 handbags in a silent and live auction. The live auction featured special “themed” bags with hundreds of dollars worth of special items inside.

“The CAR YPN Committee introduced an innovative way to bid on the silent auction, so guests were able to enjoy dinner while bidding from their mobile devices,” said Kayla Pierson, 2018 CAR YPN Chair.

“There’s no greater love than when people serve others; and that’s what our Realtors and Affiliates do every year with Handbags For Hope,” said Charles Pecka, 2018 CAR President. “This money will go towards helping the most vulnerable in our community, and help some very deserving students achieve their future goals,” said Pecka.
