Clarksville Police arrest Robbery/Carjacking suspect Rico Mallory

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Around 9:35pm, Friday, Clarksville Police report that after a short foot pursuit, Rico Mallory was taken in custody in the area of Edmondson Ferry Road and Williams Lane. The stolen vehicle was located in close proximity to where Mallory was taken in custody.

The dog, Roxy was not in the vehicle at the time it was located. Based on information received during the investigation, it was determined Roxy had been dropped off in the area of Exit 89 in Oak Grove, KY.

Clarksville Police headed to Oak Grove in an attempt to locate the missing dog.

Through social media and media outlets, the public was made aware Roxy had been dropped off in Oak Grove and animal lovers John and Christa Campbell of Oak Grove located Roxy around 10:45pm, in the area of SR 1453 near Lester Memorial Church. She was unharmed and has been returned to her owner.

Rico Mallory, age 29, has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Two Counts Aggravated Robbery, Carjacking, and Felony Evading. Mallory has an extensive criminal history.

William Joyvonne Carter, age 18 has been booked in Montgomery County Jail and charged with: Two Counts Aggravated Robbery, Felony Evading, and had two other warrants served for Criminal Simulation and Forging of Titles.

Both Rico Mallory and William Carter have many additional charges pending.
