Tennessee recognizes Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Randy Paddock, Jessica Oakes, Ashely Beck, David Corder, and Mack Little on their recent recognitions from the state of Tennessee.

On September 12th, 2018, Deputy Paddock was presented with the Three Stars of Tennessee Award at the First Responders Recognition Ceremony at the Governor’s Executive Residence in Nashville, TN.

Deputy Paddock received the award for saving the life of a 4-week-old baby who had stopped breathing.

He quickly assessed the situation, initiated CPR, and applied an AED, which resulted in saving the baby’s life.

On August 21st, 2018, Corporal Oakes, Corporal Beck, Field Training Officer Corder, and Field Training Officer Little were presented with a recognition from the Tennessee Corrections Institute for their completion of the Correctional Leadership Initiative.

The comprehensive year long initiative addresses leadership styles, strengths, and obstacles in the corrections profession. Participants are required to read, report, present, and speak at multiple engagements throughout the year.

Oakes, Beck, Corder, and Little were some of only 68 correctional officers from across the state of Tennessee to receive such recognition.
