Clarksville Police arrest Three Adults, 17 Year Old for Returning Fake Games

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have charged three men and a 17 Year old female after they were caught returning fake games to a business for a refund.

On Friday, September 21st, 2018 around 9:30pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a Wilma Rudolph Boulevard business for a shoplifting call about Durant Randolph who would purchase Xbox One games, make fake copies of the games, and return them to the store and receive a refund. This was not his first time.

He had done the same thing at the end of August but had not been identified.

Additionally, three other suspects who had been in the store earlier with Rudolph returned to the store around 11:00pm and police were notified.

Clarksville Police located the three individuals, Jacob Ellenberger, La Karian Johnson, and a 17 year old female in a vehicle at Wilma Rudolph Boulevard gas station. Officers found equipment inside of the vehicle which had been used to make and repackage fake video games.

Also, a box Johnson had in his possession was found to have marijuana inside of it.

Durant Randolph, 27 was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Two Counts of Criminal Simulation.

His bond is set at $10,000.

Jacob Ellenberger, 23, was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Criminal Simulation and Contributing to Delinquency.

His bond is set at $35,000

La Karian Johnson, 24, was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with: Two Counts Criminal Simulation, Simple Possession, and Contributing to Delinquency.

His bond is set at $42,500.

The 17 year old female was charged with Criminal Simulation.
