Clarksville, TN – With the influx of interest in premium seating for Austin Peay State University (APSU) football games, the athletics department and ticketing office will infuse the spirit of tailgating with the atmosphere of high-level football with the VIPeay End Zone Experience, beginning with the October 6th, 2018 game against Tennessee State at Fortera Stadium.
Nestled adjacent to the Hendricks Fox Walk of History, the VIPeay area will offer premium in-game food and beverage accommodations along with a place to mix and mingle with other Austin Peay fans with a field-level view of the action, as well as cornhole and other tailgate-style games and televisions to monitor other college football action around the country.
The VIPeay End Zone will open with gates, one hour prior to kickoff and will remain open through the end of halftime. This hybrid tailgate/club level area—unique among the Ohio Valley Conference—is an ideal chance for fans interested in premium seating to immerse themselves in the gameday experience this year.
“The VIPeay End Zone Experience will be an exciting addition to our premium lineup at Fortera Stadium,” said Director of Athletics Gerald Harrison. “As we constantly look for ways to enhance the gameday experience, this will offer our fans a unique chance to tailgate inside the stadium while also watching some exciting Governor football.”
This experience will include appetizers provided by Outback Steakhouse, adult beverages provided by the Hand Family Company, and soft drinks and water provided by Coca-Cola. Access to the area will be limited to fans 21 years of age and above; proper photo identification will be required upon entry.
Fans are also required to purchase a game ticket in addition to the VIPeay End Zone Experience entry ticket. Cost for the VIPeay End Zone Experience is $50.00 per person to the October 6th Tennessee State game and $60.00 for the Homecoming contest on October 27th, against Tennessee Tech. Limited space is available for this experience.
