Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office receives more calls about man with gun on Poplar Springs Road

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call overnight from the 4000 block of Poplar Springs Road of a man attempting to enter a porch with a gun and then ran off into the woods.

MCSO also received other calls of suspicious activity in the area. MCSO has established a second search perimeter in the area.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the search area to stay indoors, lock all doors and windows, and report any suspicious activity.

Kirby Gene Wallace is wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Burglary, and Theft of Property for the home invasion that occurred on September 27th, 2018 on River Road.

Wallace is wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office to face one count of First Degree Murder, one count of Felony Murder, one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Aggravated Arson, two counts of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, two counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery, and one count of Especially Aggravated Burglary in connection to an incident in Indian Mound.
