Titans Looking for Win and .500 Record at Midseason

Tennessee TitansPrior to their bye last week, the Titans traveled to London to face the Los Angeles Chargers. A touchdown pass from Marcus Mariota to tight end Luke Stocker cut the Chargers’ lead to 20-19 with 31 seconds remaining. The Titans elected to try a two-point conversion to take the lead, but a pass from Mariota to wide receiver Taywan Taylor was tipped by safety Adrian Phillips and fell incomplete.

Against the Chargers, the Titans combined for 164 rushing yards, including a game-high 91 yards on the ground by Dion Lewis. Lewis added 64 receiving yards to give him a career-high 155 yards from scrimmage.

The loss put the Titans at 3-4 with nine games remaining in the regular season.

They are in second place in the AFC South behind the division-leading Houston Texans, who are 5-3. The Titans will play on the road in three of the next four weeks and then finish with four out of their final five games at Nissan Stadium.

At 2-0 within the AFC South, they have four remaining divisional contests.
