Clarksville-Montgomery County residents invited to review Transportation Plan

Clarksville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CUAMPO)Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CUAMPO), which is responsible for transportation planning for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Oak Grove and southern Christian County, KY, will host two public meetings in December to present the Draft 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.

The meetings will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm December 3rd, 2018 at Oak Grove City Hall, 8505 Pembroke Road, and from 5:00pm-7:00pm December 4th, 2018 at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 501, Clarksville.

CUAMPO officials will present the MTP and solicit comments and suggestions on short and long-term transportation improvements in the region. The MTP serves as a blueprint for investments on the region’s streets and highways, public transportation, sidewalks and bike paths, airports, railroads and waterways.

The public comment period is November 30th to December 31st, 2018. Documents are available for review online at www.cuampo.com and during business hours at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission, 329 Main Street Clarksville; Oak Grove City Hall; Hopkinsville City Hall, 101 North Main Street; R.F Sink Library at Fort Campbell, 38 Screaming Eagle Boulevard; and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.
