Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Art on the Park contest winners

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department announces that the eight winners and two honorary artists have completed their artwork in the Art on the Park contest at Heritage Park Skate Park.

The contest was sponsored by Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department and Porter Paints.

More than 75 entries were submitted and the eight winners painted skate park walls and received a $25.00 gift card.

Additionally, two honorary artists were chosen to paint walls.

Ages 12-18:

Annabella Gallentine — Prize Winner

Andrea Castaneda — Prize Winner

Anna Carter — Honorary Winner

Ages 19-24:

Grace Richardson — Prize Winner

Chloe Sybert — Prize Winner

Ages 25 & up:

Melissa Szkola — Prize Winner

Dennis Sullivan — Prize Winner

Angie Torres — Honorary Winner

This is the fifth Art on the Park contest hosted by Clarksville Parks and Recreation at Heritage Park Skate Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road. The contest is conducted every two years in an effort to beautify the skate park, deter graffiti and to showcase local art. This year’s contest was open to ages 12 and up.
