Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office promotes James Harbison, Joseph May

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate James Harbison and Sergeant Joseph May on their recent promotion and transfer.

James Harbison has been promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Detention Services Bureau. He started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in May 2016 as a jail deputy. Harbison is also a U.S. Army Veteran, serving for more than twenty years.

Sergeant Joseph May has been selected to fill an open Sergeants position in the School Resource Program.

He started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in July 2004 as a jail deputy.

Since then he has worked as a school resource officer, patrol deputy, and Corporal and Sergeant in the Patrol Division.
