AAA reports National Gas Price Average Dropping Toward Lowest of the Year

AAATampa, FL – On the week, the national gas price average has dropped seven cents to land at $2.56. As pump prices steadily decline, they are headed toward some of the cheapest gas prices in 2018. The national average was lowest in January at $2.49 while May brought the most expensive price of $2.97.

“Trends are indicating that the month of December may bring some of the cheapest gas prices of the year,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.

APSU Football alumni Bonnie Sloan named Top 50 all-time great from Nashville

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University Athletics Hall of Fame member Bonnie Sloan was named one of Nashville’s 50 greatest high school football players by the Tennessean.

Sloan, who played at Austin Peay from 1969-72, is the 12th leading tackler all-time for the Governors, with 323 career stops. He recorded 100 tackles as a junior, and followed that up with a 124-tackle effort as a senior. He received All-Ohio Valley Conference honors in his final two seasons in Clarksville.

Clarksville Police warn Business Owners with Shipping Containers to Beware

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that thieves broke into a shipping container at the 2100 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 around 2:00am and stole four Samsung front-load washers valued at approximately $3,000.

The unidentified suspects broke into several of the containers before they found one with the new washers inside. The suspects were driving a black older model pickup, possibly with a missing tailgate, and loaded the appliances in the back.

Clarksville Police reports Car stolen on College Street

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On November 21st, 2018 about 12:30am, Clarksville Police report a thief took advantage after a woman left her car unattended, with the key inside of the console of the vehicle, while she went inside of a business at 1361 College Street.

When she exited the business a few minutes later, her 2001 Toyota CXL, Gold, TN Tag 8A61U3 had been stolen. The unknown suspect that stole the vehicle can be seen on the video surveillance as they get out of a silver car, possibly a Toyota Matrix, no hub caps, black rims and some minor body damage.

Clarksville Police are looking for Theft Suspect Jeramie Privette

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are requesting assistance locating Jeramie Privette, height 5’11, weight 185, Brown Hair, and Blue Eyes. He has a Felony Theft warrant on file in Clarksville.

On October 17th, 2018, Privette was in a Memorial Drive residence working for a flooring company. The victim found items missing from her residence after the flooring company completed their work.

Throughout various formations in Afghanistan, service members navigate through combat related stress, family separation, martial issues, mourning the death of loved ones and even financial mismanagement.

All these things can influence performance and have adverse effects.
