It capped an 86-yard series that qualified as Mariota’s 12th game-winning drive in four NFL seasons, including playoffs. (Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports) The Titans defense, which is ranked ninth in the NFL overall (340.9 yards per game allowed) and sixth in passing defense (221.2), did not allow the Jets offense to reach the end zone—New York’s lone touchdown came on an interception return. Cornerback Malcolm Butler sealed the victory with an interception in the closing seconds. Following their matchup with the Jaguars, the Titans will travel to face the New York Giants (December 16th) before finishing the regular season at home against the Washington Redskins (Saturday, December 22nd) and the Colts (December 30th).
