Clarksville Police Department
Clarksville, TN – It was an absolutely amazing day as the Clarksville Police Union #18 sponsored a Kids Shopping with Cops Extravaganza at Sango Walmart, Saturday, December 8th, 2018.
They sponsored a holiday shopping spree for over 150 children. There were many heart rending moments as each child made gift selections. Some shopped for themselves, others wanted to buy gifts for everyone else except themselves and one insisted on buying something for their teacher.
Officers from Clarksville Police Department (CPD), Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and civilians with a connection to law enforcement escorted the kids around to help pick out the perfect gift.
Santa Claus even took out time from his busy schedule to make an appearance. It was hard to tell who was having a better time, the the officers or the children.
Clarksville Police would like to thank our local community for their generous donations which made the shopping day possible.
