Clarksville Police Turn up the Heat in Search for Homicide Suspects Marques Kelly, Vincent Merriweather

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has turned up the heat in their search for two homicide suspects. Their latest quest for Marques Lamarr “Cheez” Kelly and one of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s TBI Top Ten Most Wanted, Vincent Bryan “Rabbit” Merriweather, who both have Criminal Homicide warrants, led officers to Bamburg Drive.

Clarksville Police have been following several leads to locate the homicide suspects. On Friday, December 14th, 2018, the investigation took officers to Bamburg Drive where a search warrant was executed.

Neither of the suspects were present, but three other men inside of the residence were charged with crimes:

Joe O’Neal
Joe O’Neal

Joe O’Neal, 19 was charged with Accessory After The Fact (Homicide), Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Weapon, and Theft. His bond is set at $1,010,000.

It was determined O’Neal is a member of the Vice-Lord gang and an associate of Vincent Merriweather.

He was aware of Merriweather’s status as a wanted fugitive, communicated with him, and performed specific tasks which Merriweather could not perform himself due to being a fugitive. This included money distribution to family members, associates, and reimbursement to a co-conspirator.

O’Neal aided Merriweather in these tasks, thus allowing Merriweather the means to remain concealed and avoid arrest.

Jhanti Gold, 23 was charged with Drugs – Possession For Resale (Felony), Simple Possession, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

His bond is set at 15,500.

Amonti Moss, 19 was charged with Drugs – Possession For Resale (Felony), Two Counts Simple Possession, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

His bond is set at $20,500.

As Police continue to follow leads to locate and arrest the homicide suspects, there will be no hesitation to also charge anyone associated with assisting the fugitives in any manner to avoid arrest.
