Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsGainesville, FL – A battle between two of the SEC’s top defenses is set to take place Saturday night, as No. 3 Tennessee goes on the road for the second time this week to face Florida in Exactech Arena/O’Connell Center.

The game will tip at 5:00pm CT and will be televised on ESPN and can also be viewed online through WatchESPN. Fans can listen live on their local Vol Network affiliate to hear Bob Kesling and Bert Bertelkamp describing the action.

Tennessee (13-1, 2-0 SEC) enters the matchup on the heels of an 87-63 win on the road against Missouri.

Saint Thomas Health Mobile Mammography Coach to be at Hilltop Supermarket Saturday, January 12th

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – The Saint Thomas Health Our Mission in Motion Mobile Mammography Coach will be at Hilltop Supermarket’s parking lot from 9:00am until 3:00pm this Saturday, January 12th, 2019.

The coach provides mammography for women who cannot afford the time away from work for appropriate screenings. It also helps women with no insurance through support from organizations like Susan G. Komen.

The General Dentistry Residency Program is looking for complete denture patients (no teeth remaining in the upper or lower jaws). Military ID card holders, including retired or family members, are eligible to participate.

Fort Campbell’s Prosthodontists will consider if individuals are qualified for the purposes of residency training.

APSU’s The New Gallery presents “Patrick Vincent: Vanishing Islands”

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – This January, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) The New Gallery, with support from the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts and the APSU Department of Art + Design, will continue its exciting 2018-19 exhibition season with Patrick Vincent: Vanishing Islands.

The exhibit opens Monday, January 14th and runs through February 8th. Vincent will give a public lecture on his work at 6:00pm on February 5th in the APSU Art + Design Building’s Heydel Hall.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office issues updated on Wanted Bounty Hunters

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports that Andrew Scott Giarratano, 29, Charles Victor Mullins, 33, and Jason Glendale Woosley, 36, have been taken into custody.

On Thursday, January 10th, 2019, MCSO issued arrest warrants for the three bounty hunters that work for Grumpy’s Bail Bonds for assault and failure to follow state laws on bounty hunting procedures.

The bounty hunters attempted to make forced entry into the home by kicking in the front door.

Clarksville Police investigates Smash and Grab Vehicle Burglaries

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify suspects in at least three smash and grab vehicle burglaries.

One of the vehicle burglaries was on January 4th on Hillcrest Drive and the other two were on January 9th on Lowe’s Drive.

The suspects smashed the windows and stole two purses and one wallet which had cash, credit cards, and personal items.

The vehicle burglary suspects were driving a white 2000s model Town and Country Van.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has cancelled today’s scheduled water outage and road closure planned for water valve replacement work on Bluegrass Road.

The water outage and valve work has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 8:00am until 2:00pm and will affect Bluegrass Road, Southern Drive and Plantation Drive in the Colonial Village subdivision.
