The Govs fired a 305 in the final round to finish up at 914 (303-306-305), making a valiant charge but ultimately unable to overtake Georgia State (912) for third.

Murray State (873) took the team title, with Keiser (894) as runner-up and Dartmouth (922) keeping the top-five the same as Monday.

A final-round 77 kept freshman Taylor Dedmen firmly in the top-10. The Plant City native’s 226 (74-75-77) kept her tied for ninth. She started her day with a birdie on the par-4 at No. 13, helping her post a 39 on the back-nine of the course.

A pair of Austin Peay upperclassmen posted strong final days en route to top-20 finishes. For senior Reagan Greene, a final-round 76 kept her in sole possession of 12th with a 227 (74-77-76), aided by a one-over 37 on the front nine. Junior Meghann Stamps struggled to start, starting with bogey’s on four of her first five, but she caught fire with a 33 on the front nine; she finished with a team-best 74 on the day, moving up to a tie for 13th with a 229 (80-75-74) as the lone Gov to improve her score each day.

Twin sisters Taylor and Ashton Goodley fired matching 236s to finish tied for 34th. Taylor Goodley (77-79-80) carded three birdies on the front nine, including the difficult 336-yard par-4 on No. 3, while Ashton Goodley (78-80-78) posted a team-best 38 on the back nine in the final round.

The Govs will take a 10-day hiatus before trading the suns of Florida for the hills of eastern Kentucky, competing in the Colonel Classic, March 29th-30th, at the University Club at Arlington.
