The Governors (11-0) have yet to lose this season, winning more than half of their matches via shutout as well.

The Govs had one match last week, defeating Dayton handily at home by a 7-0 margin. Tatiana Lopez and Honoka Nakanishi moved up to the No. 1 doubles spot and provided immediate results, winning, 6-0.

In singles, the Govs continued to exert their dominance, winning all six matches in straight sets. Claudia Yanes Garcia remains undefeated with a 10-0 record in completed singles matches this season.

About the North Alabama Lions

The Lions (5-7) have played a relatively tough schedule in their non-conference portion. Four of their seven losses have come against Southeastern Conference foes Tennessee and Mississippi State. The Lions defeated OVC member Jacksonville State, 4-3, in February as well. North Alabama has won their past two matches, blanking Mississippi Valley State and narrowly beating Western Kentucky.

This is the first ever meeting between the two programs, with North Alabama becoming a Division I program only this year. The Govs share two common opponents with the Lions, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky. Both teams beat the Hilltoppers, but the Lions were shutout by the Blue Raiders in early March.

North Alabama will provide live stats for the match and @AustinPeayWTN will tweet live updates on Twitter.
