Nashville Predators drop the Buffalo Sabres 3-2, move back into a tie for Central Division lead

 

Nashville PredatorsBuffalo, NY – The Nashville Predators move back atop the central division with a win tonight against the Buffalo Sabres, 3-2.

Ryan Johansen scored the game winner and the Predators now sit atop the division, tied with the Winnipeg Jets in what looks to be a real dogfight to the finish, with two games remaining on the schedule. 

At presstime, the Jets were trailing the Minnesota Wild, 4-1.  The Nashville win puts them two points up on the St. Louis Blues who have been breathing down Nashville’s back for the last week.

APSU Women's VolleyballClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) beach volleyball team returns home from conference play to face UT Martin in a doubleheader, Wednesday afternoon.

These will be the fourth and fifth meetings in the series history between the Governors and the Skyhawks.

Roxy Regional Theatre exhibits new work from Clarksville Artist Terri Jordan

 

Clarksville's Customs House Museum and Cultural CenterClarksville, TN – New paintings by Terri Jordan are currently on exhibit in the Peg Harvill Gallery of the Roxy Regional Theatre. APSU Football’s Red and White Spring Game to feature alumni reunion game

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – The Red and White Spring Game presented by Echo Power and hosted by the Austin Peay State University (APSU) football program is set for Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at Fortera Stadium, and will feature a football alumni reunion flag football game in the festivities.

Admission to the Spring Game is free and open to the public, and fans will be able to sit in the west (home) grandstands of Fortera Stadium.

Clarksville Police have arrested Wanted Juvenile Tai Harrell

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have a wanted juvenile Tai Harrell in custody after negotiators were able to end a lengthy standoff without incident.

On Monday, April 1st, 2019, around 7:34pm, Clarksville Police received an anonymous tip that Tai Harrell had just went inside of a South Senseney Circle residence.

There was very detailed information provided which added credibility to the validity of the call.

Clarksville Police have taken Tai Harrell into custody.
