Clarksville Gas and Water Department
Clarksville, TN – Pat Hickey, general manager of Clarksville Gas and Water Department, resigned Thursday after 12 years in the position.
“I want to thank Pat for his long service at Gas and Water and I wish him well,” Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts said.
Hickey presented a letter of resignation during a meeting Thursday afternoon with Mayor Pitts and Chief of Staff James Halford.
“We had asked for some changes in operations at Gas & Water,” Pitts said. “We got to a point where we had ‘irreconcilable differences’ of opinions about those changes, so I accepted Pat’s decision to resign and move on.”
