NFL Draft comes to Nashville, Tennessee Titans hold 19th overall pick

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Nashville transforms into the epicenter of the football world next week as Music City hosts the 84th Annual National Football League Player Selection Meeting.

The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to have the 19th overall selection and six total picks in the draft, which opens with the first round on Thursday, April 25th at 7:00pm Rounds 2 and 3 are set for Friday, April 26th, beginning at 6:00pm, and the draft concludes with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 27th, at 11:00am (all times central).

NFL Draft

The NFL will conduct the draft from the heart of Downtown Nashville, with the Draft Main Stage located at the intersection of Broadway and 1st Avenue.

The Schermerhorn Symphony Center will house Selection Square, where representatives from all 32 NFL clubs will make the teams’ selections. Across the Cumberland River at Nissan Stadium, the NFL Draft Experience presented by Oikos® Triple Zero will welcome fans to a football festival for all three days of the draft. Admission to all NFL Draft events is free.

Nashville is the fourth city to host the NFL Draft since the league decided to move it from New York, which hosted the festivities every year from 1965 to 2014. Since then, Chicago (2015-16), Philadelphia (2017) and Dallas (2018) have welcomed the premier event on the NFL’s offseason calendar.

Less than four miles north of the NFL Draft Main Stage, Titans personnel, including executive vice president/general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel, will be headquartered at Saint Thomas Sports Park in MetroCenter.

The Broadcast

All seven rounds of the draft will air on multiple networks. ABC, including WKRN-TV News 2 in Nashville, will be the exclusive broadcast home of the draft. NFL Network, ESPN and ESPN Deportes also will carry three days of draft coverage. ABC will produce its own distinct telecast, separate from ESPN and NFL Network, during the first two nights of coverage and will simulcast ESPN’s presentation on Day 3.

Radio listeners can tune to the Titans Radio Network, including Nashville flagship 104.5 The Zone. Titans Radio, led by the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith and analyst Dave McGinnis, will provide gavel-to-gavel coverage of the draft.
