With this honor, Ozelis has been named to an All-Conference team all four years of his career, making him the fifth player in program history to accomplish the feat, joining Sean Bailey (2010-2013), Jasmin Ademovic (2011-2014), Dimitar Ristovski (2012-2015), and Aleksas Tverijonas (2012-2015).

Ozelis is having one of the finest seasons of his career, going 9-9 in singles this spring and 14-12 dating back to last fall. Ozelis has played every match at the No. 1 position for both singles and doubles. He is tied with his partner Anton Damberg for the most doubles wins on the team since the fall, with 10. Ozelis also picked up his third career OVC Player of the Week award earlier this season.

Edison was named Second-Team All-OVC after his improved sophomore campaign, especially in the OVC. It is the first All-OVC honor for Edison, who also won an OVC Player of the Week award this spring. Edison played all but one dual match at the No. 2 singles and doubles spot, sporting a 2-3 OVC mark in singles, but partnered with Kiesslich for a 3-1 OVC doubles record. Edison also embarked on a four-match win streak in doubles that spilled over into conference play.

Kiesslich also received Second-Team All-OVC honors after excelling in OVC play. The junior went 3-2 in OVC singles, the only APSU player to record at least three single wins in OVC play. Kiesslich teamed with Edison to go 3-1 in OVC doubles play, going on a four-match win streak. Kiesslich’s combined 6-3 mark in OVC singles and doubles ranks first on the team.

The Govs will take on Eastern Illinois, 2:00pm, Friday, in the first round of the OVC Tournament at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville tennessee.
