Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office promotes Douglas Thomasson, Daniel Kowal, Camilla Kent

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate Douglas Thomasson, Daniel Kowal, and Camilla Kent on their recent promotions to Corporal.

Corporal Thomasson began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in December 2017 as a Deputy in the Detention Services Bureau. He is a retired veteran from the United States Army with 21 years of military service. Thomasson brings over 10 years of leadership experience to his new position in the Detention Services Bureau.

Corporal Kowal began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in August 2016 as a Deputy in the Detention Services Bureau. He is a veteran with two years of prior service in the United States Army. Kowal has nearly seven years of prior service with this agency and brings nearly 10 years of experience to his new position in the Detention Services Bureau.

Corporal Kent began her career with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in December 2006 as a Clerk in the Detention Services Bureau. She became a Deputy in the jail in November 2010 and was transferred to Courts in October 2012 and later transferred to Civil Process in October 2014. Kent received her Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Certification in March of 2019 and brings nearly 13 years of experience to her new position.
