Clarksville Police seek to Identify Vehicle Burglaries, Stolen Vehicle Suspects

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report several burglaries and a motor vehicle theft, occurring overnight, in the subdivisions off of Ringgold Road. CPD are trying to identify suspects.

The video clearly shows suspects entering an unlocked vehicle. But, also note there are multiple suspects evident in the video obviously mass canvassing the neighborhood and, most assuredly, up to no good.

Also, you can see the one suspect checking the locked door handle of one vehicle and, at the same time, checking and finding the other vehicle unlocked. The burglar can be seen slowly closing the pushing the door shut and not slamming it.

The attached photo is a 2016 black Jeep Cherokee which was stolen after the key was left in the vehicle. You cannot see it clearly in the photo, but the Cherokee has blue brake calipers which might make it stand out if someone sees it.

This video also depicts a fairly standard method of operation for committing burglaries in neighborhoods.

To help reduce burglaries and thefts, CPD recommend

  • Lock Your Vehicle
  • Secure Your Valuables
  • Take The Keys
